How do we stand on Brexit?
In principle The English Eye reckons that little more than a few decades of European Union membership doesn't stack up too well against 1000-odd years of sovereign independence.
In essence, we love Europe and Europeans, but not so much a future reckoned to consist of 'ever closer union' into the EU.
As for the United Kingdom, we think the four constituent countries - England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales - have worked well together. So let's continue!
